The AHA’s BLS (CPR) Course is designed for healthcare professionals including but not limited to EMTs, Paramedics, and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings.
Certified EMS providers are required to have a current Healthcare provider level CPR course per WREMAC requirements. The AHA BLS course meets this requirement.
The AHA’s BLS course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
Only current Cattaraugus County First Responders (Fire, EMS, Police) are eligible for the Cattaraugus County First Responder pricing level. If you not a member of a Fire, EMS or Law Enforcement agency in the County, then you must select the Public, Not a First Responder Option
